Planning Your Visit

We want your visit to Knoxville Raceway to be a fun and stress-free experience for the whole family. We've shared information below that you may find helpful for your planning. If you should have more questions, please call the ticket office at 641-842-5431.

What You Can Bring:

Your Ticket - This is a must. Each person entering the grandstands will need a ticket and should have their ticket in hand and ready to be scanned by the gate attendants. Planning to leave the grandstand area? You WILL need your ticket to exit and re-enter the grandstands. No ticket, no entry.

Cash, Credit or Debit Cards - We still accept cash as well as credit and debit cards for tickets, concessions and at the bars. There are also ATM machines available at the ticket office and backstretch grandstands (during the 410 Nationals).

Ear Plugs and/or Noise-Canceling Headphones - Our events can get very loud. Ear plugs or noise-canceling headphones may be desired. (Ear plugs and headphones are available from the onsite souvenir vendors).

Bug Repellent - Because Knoxville Raceway is an open-air stadium, bugs may be an issue during the summer.

Eye Protection - At times, there will be dust in the air at our events. Eye goggles may be desired. (They may also be purchased from onsite souvenir vendors).

Weather and Sun Protection - Knoxville Raceway is an open-air stadium, so you will want to be prepared to face the elements. Things like sunscreen, hats, jackets, rain ponchos may be needed depending on weather forecasts. Umbrellas are not permitted in the grandstands as they obstruct the view of those around you. (Rain ponchos, hats, jackets and other items can be purchased at onsite souvenir vendors).

Blankets - Blankets are great if the air gets a chill or to use to sit on for extra padding in the grandstands. (These are also sold at onsite souvenir vendors).

Seat Cushions - Our grandstands are bench style, metal seats with backrests. Foam or other seat cushions are permitted as long as they are not more than 20" wide. Stadium seats are not permitted in the grandstands and will be turned away at the gate.

Beverage - One (1) 20oz or smaller, unopened, non-alcoholic, beverage, per person, in a PLASTIC bottle, is allowed to be carried into the grandstands. (Water and many other beverages are available for purchase from concessions or other onsite vendors).

Stadium Seats - Stadium seats are not permitted in the grandstands and will be turned away at the gate.

Food - No outside food is permitted in the grandstand unless purchased from an onsite food vendor or concessions.

Beverages and Alcohol - No alcoholic beverages are permitted into the facility. Our facility proudly serves Coca-Cola products that are available at concession stands and onsite food vendors. Beer, wine coolers and alcohol is available for purchase at the bars.

Drugs - No drugs will be permitted into the facility.

Umbrellas - While keeping you dry, umbrellas obstruct the view of those sitting around you and drip on them as well.
