Richards to appear today at Sprint Car Hall of Fame

NSCHoF (Knoxville, IA) -- Josh Richards of Shinnston, West Virginia, will be this year’s subject of our Q&A interview at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum. The interview will be conducted by Dave Argabright at 11:30 a.m. Friday September 14 on the museum’s second floor. Fans are welcome to attend with paid admission to the museum. The interview will be held in conjunction with the 15th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals at the Knoxville Raceway.

Josh has picked up over 160 dirt late model wins in his stellar career. Over 100 of those wins have come either in the Lucas Oil Late Model Series or the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. He is the defending Lucas Oil Series champion, and is the only driver to win the World of Outlaws Series four times (2009, 2010, 2013, 2016). At just 30 years of age, he is the all-time leading feature winner with the WoO. He’s spent plenty of time at father Mark’s Rocket Chassis shop as well.

Don’t forget the annual Late Model Nationals auction will take place at Noon on Saturday on the second floor of the museum! Early donations include items autographed by drivers taking part in the 2018 Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals, racing-themed holiday décor, and gift baskets wine-loving race fans are sure to love, created and donated by emcee Kathy Krafka Harkema. Spectacular racing prints by photographer Dennis Krieger of Dennis Krieger Imagery of Iowa are also expected to delight buyers.

Join the fun and help raise thousands of dollars for two great non-profit museums, the Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame in Florence, Kentucky, and the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Msueum, while adding to your own collection of racing memorabilia or getting a head start on your Christmas shopping.

Spend your week with us in the air conditioned museum, open daily from 8 a.m. until the checkered flag falls! We think you’ll like your experience with us!
