Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (May 31, 2018) – A tire problem proved costly to Scott Bogucki and his SawBlade.com backed team as they once again competed against tough 410ci sprint car teams at Knoxville Raceway last Saturday.

With a couple of weeks off from the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com, Bogucki has competed at Knoxville Raceway as he recently put a car back together following a crash approximately one month ago.

Last Saturday he missed the setup for qualifying, but rebounded by charging from eighth to fourth place in his heat race.

“I was HORRIBLY tight to qualify,” he said. “We made some changes and I was really good in the heat and in the feature. But I made some mistakes and ended up sealing a tire over and parked it while it was still in one piece.”

Bogucki, who was credited with a 24th-place finish, said he will race in the 410 sprint car division at Knoxville Raceway this Saturday before tackling the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com Speedweek, which runs from June 8-16 and features six races during nine nights.

“That will be a grueling stretch of races, but I’ve got some help coming and I think we have all the pieces ready for a successful Speedweek,” he said.

Bogucki currently sits eighth in the ASCS National Tour championship standings during his rookie season with the touring 360ci sprint car series.
