It was a great day to be Danny Lasoski at Knoxville Raceway on Saturday. In the afternoon, he was inducted into the Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame. At night, he led from green to checker to earn $5,000 and his 112th victory on Mid-Season Championship Night. In a new SCHNEE car owned and tuned by Mark Burch, the duo gelled together and wrote another page in the history books.

Kyle Larson picked up right where he left off scoring a second consecutive Ohio Sprint Speedweek main event victory during competition at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio. Larson, who started sixth on the All Star Circuit of Champions feature grid, wasted no time working his way to the front of the feature field. The pilot of the Paul Silva-owned/Finley Farms/No. 57 EAGLE moved around teammate and early leader Rico Abreu on lap four, eventually withstanding multiple waves of traffic, as well as mid-race and late race charge from Abreu. The victory was the sixth All Star win of Larson’s career with all six occurring during Ohio Sprint Speedweeks.

From the sixth starting position Kade Higday would create a side by side battle for the lead in the Knoxville Raceway 305 division. Higday would move by on lap 13 and hold onto his lead for another win in his EAGLE. “The top was pretty crumbly tonight,” said Higday in Victory Lane. “I just stuck to it and kept going.”

Austin Pierce recorded his second win of the 2017 season on Friday night at River Cities Speedway. Pierce put on a dominating performance as his SCHNEE led all 25 laps in route to the 17th win of his career. “The key was to protect the high side and be as smooth as I could through the ruts on the cushion,” said Pierce, who extended his NOSA Sprints lead over the weekend. “I knew I would be ok if I could hit my marks.” The win had extra meaning being his son, Grayson, visited victory lane for the first time in his first visit to the race track. Austin found his good luck charm!

Mike Boston earned his first victory in over a year at Eagle Raceway. The SCHNEE chassis with a Speedway Engine powered through the field allowing Mike to capitalized on a restart to take the lead and the checkers in the RaceSaver division.
