Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (July 27, 2016) – Big Game Motorsports driver Danny Lasoski picked up a pair of runner-up finishes last weekend during National Sprint League competition.

The Muddy sponsored team opened the action last Friday at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., by setting quick time during the event that paid $10,000 to the winner. Lasoski maneuvered from sixth to third place in a heat race to make the feature inversion, which lined him up on the outside of the second row for the main event.

“For whatever reason (Craig Dollansky) gets the job done there,” he said. “We tried everything we could to get the job done. At the end of the day clean air is a sprint car drivers dream. If you’ve got the lead count yourself a tenth and a half better. It’s that significant.”

Lasoski made a late-race pass to go from fourth to second place, which is where he finished.

The Muddy backed team then headed to Knoxville Raceway for an event on Saturday. Lasoski again set quick time during qualifying before he ended sixth in a heat race. That lined him up on the outside of the second row for the feature for the second straight night.

“We just couldn’t get to the lead,” he said. “Brian Brown did a great job and we stuck with him, but there wasn’t an opportunity to make the pass.”

Lasoski tried an early slide job that came up a bit short and he closed to Brown’s rear bumper in traffic toward the end of the race before settling for second.

“Second sucks to be honest, but we’re very proud of our team and the hard work everyone puts in,” Lasoski said. “It starts with Tod (Quiring) putting together a great team. Brian Morrison gives us great horsepower. Guy, Nate, James and Brady all work their tail off. I’m proud to drive for these guys.”

Big Game Motorsports will return to National Sprint League competition with a tripleheader this weekend starting on Friday with a $20,000-to-win event at Jackson Motorplex before races on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway and Sunday at Hancock County Speedway in Britt, Iowa.
