Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (July 6, 2015) – Big Game Motorsports continues to build steam as Danny Lasoski guided the Muddy sponsored team to its sixth feature victory during the past 10 races last Friday.

Lasoski led the distance of the 35-lap FVP National Sprint League event at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., to capture his third straight NSL triumph and boost his lead in the championship standings.

After opening the night by qualifying sixth quickest and finishing fifth in a heat race, Lasoski took advantage of drawing a front row starting position for the main event. He lined up on the outside of the polesitter and quickly powered into the lead.

“We got a really good draw,” he said. “The race track was basically one lane and really sticky. We took it easy and bided our time. I knew if I can’t pass a lapped car they can’t pass me. You really had to be careful as narrow as it was. It’s really hard to win a race, but it’s easy to be taken out.”

Lasoski maintained the top spot to earn Big Game Motorsports its seventh victory of the season.

The weekend wrapped up on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway, where Lasoski qualified third quickest despite going out late for qualifying. He then maneuvered the Muddy backed sprint car from sixth to fourth place during a heat race to advance into the feature redraw. Lasoski then pulled the No. 2 to start on the front row for the second straight night.

“I had a really good draw, but before I exited turn two on the start I was third,” he said. “We got beat on the start. Any time we got in lapped traffic and thought we had an opportunity a caution would come out. Terry McCarl was setting a really good pace and in order for us to beat him he had to make a mistake, which he didn’t.”

Lasoski earned the runner-up result, which increased his lead in the NSL standings to 321 points and the Knoxville Raceway standings to 249 points.

Big Game Motorsports is set to compete on Friday at Park Jefferson International Speedway in Jefferson, S.D., with the FVP National Sprint League; Saturday at Knoxville Raceway; and Sunday at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.

Lasoski enters the weekend with six straight podium finishes with the Muddy sponsored team.
