Alley, Turner, Bakker and the list goes on...
The 360 main event was no less exciting at Knoxville Raceway. It was a string of EMI cars as Justin Henderson jumped to the early lead from the pole position. Russ Hall and Tasker Phillips trailed him early, but it was evident that Billy Alley, making his first appearance of the year at Knoxville, was on the move. Alley could put the Ironwood Builders #3 EAGLE high or low on the race track and slipped under Henderson coming for the white flag. He would hold him off for a popular victory.
Tyson Cross rebounded from a previous weeks devastation by chasing a fellow Henchcraft car to the stripe at Deming Speedway. Cross would be granted the win after Brock Lemley, also in a Henchcraft, was found light at the scales.
Kevin Turner proved his SCHNEE chassis and talents were magic over the weekend. Skeptical to drive a bent race car, Kevin towed to Magic Valley Speedway only to time at the top of the leader board and then win the event.
“Dynamite” Mark Dobmeier registered career win # 109 at his hometown track, the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Celebrating with family and friends in preparation for a big weekend this week with a chance to defend a title. Last year, Mark drove from the tenth starting spot to beat the Outlaws at Huset’s Speedway piloting an EAGLE car.
Young Wes Wofford from Alamogordo brought along a couple of friends from down south to join the local shoes at Sandia Speedway. Wofford has been making a habit of taking the wins at Sandia and this night would be no exception. The #19 EAGLE would lead every lap to take yet another win.
The United Rebel Sprint Series feature victory at Dodge City Raceway Park was won by CJ Johnson. The Quinter, KS, shoe picked up his first DCRP win since topping the 360-ci portion of last July’s Steve King Memorial.
Casey Abbas has become a fixture of success at Husets Speedway driving his SCHNEE chassis. Week after week Casey reports yet another victory. 2015 is shaping up to be a breakout season for this talented driver.
Jordan Poirier pointed his HENCHCRAFT to victory yet again at Le RPM Speedway. Jordan's brilliantly prepared car raced to the front for another victory this season.
Dustin Sargent wheeled his #77 SCHNEE chassis to a win at Arlington Raceway. Dustin is one of many EMI cars competing and sharing success in MN.
Gregg Bakker was the winner of the Last Deck 360 Sprint Car A Feature at Jackson Speedway in his SCHNEE car. Gregg is no stranger to this surface as he has been instrumental in the upgrades being done at the facility and has obviously used that familiarity to his advantage.
Cori Andrews was back at Placerville Speedway trying rebound after her last two visits to the venue. Andrews took the green flag and powered into the lead in the Midget Lite feature event. Andrews muscled into a distant lead that went without serious challenge for the remainder of the race. Her 2015 HENCHCRAFT continues to prove dominant.
On the STALLARD side, Ryan Marsch invaded Double X Speedway in MO and was able to hoist the hardware at the end of the evening. Marsch took the lead on lap one and set sail earning the victory.
