Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (Aug. 25, 2014) – Mark Burch Motorsports and driver Danny Lasoski are looking forward to a tripleheader this weekend following a frustrating finish last Saturday at Knoxville Raceway.

After qualifying 16th quickest and winning a heat race, Lasoski lost a power steering line early in the main event at the half-mile track.

“We had power steering troubles and ran the whole race without steering,” he said. “I took an ALS challenge with power steering fluid. It was terrible. And then the wing went all the way back and stuck. It was one those nights you want to forget about.”

Lasoski battled for a spot inside the top 10 throughout the main event before finishing 11th.

The team is slated to tackle Jackson Speedway in Jackson, Minn., this Friday and Saturday for the 36th annual Jackson Nationals with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour.

“We’re looking forward to it,” he said. “The last couple of times we’ve been there the guys at Jackson have been phenomenal at making sure you get a top and a bottom lane. I can’t wait to go back.”

The weekend will conclude on Sunday at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb., with the Nebraska 360 Sprints. Mark Burch Motorsports and Lasoski picked up a victory at the high-banked track earlier this season.

“It’s in Mark’s backyard and will probably be the last time we’ll be there before the Fall Brawl so it’ll be a good test,” Lasoski said, referring to the potential $50,000-to-win Midwest Fall Brawl at I-80 Speedway in September.
