Darin Van Dee Claims 29th Annual Fall Enduro at Knoxville!
KNOXVILLE RACEWAY, Knoxville, IA– Darin Van Dee of Deep River took the 29th annual Fall Enduro at Knoxville Raceway Sunday night. In a race that went the full 200 laps, the win paid him $1,000 for his efforts. Van Dee inherited the lead when defending champion, Mike Goff, made a stop in the pits to change a right rear tire at about the 170 lap mark. Goff returned to finish second on the lead lap and earn $700. Troy DeJong of Bussey finished third worth $500.
Seven red flag periods were encountered along the way for various reasons such as debris on the track as well for removal of stalled cars which were in a dangerous position.
