MUSEUM’S MAXIM/RIDER ‘410’ RAFFLE CAR HEADS TO ELDORA AGAIN FOR THE 31st KINGS ROYAL
KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 3, 2014) – National Sprint Car Museum special events coordinator David Herrmann is headed to the World of Outlaws-sanctioned Kings Royal championship next week at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, with the museum-benefit Maxim/Rider raffle sprint car. He will have the state-of-the-art 410-cubic-inch sprint car at Tony Stewart’s high-banked Eldora half-mile dirt track on Friday-Saturday, July 11-12, where he will also coordinate the annual museum-benefit auction on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the track’s Fan Zone. This sprint car #10- raffle car will be given away on Friday, December 19th, this year, with the drawing taking place at our museum in Knoxville, Iowa.
Said David Herrmann today, “We can’t thank Larry Boos, Roger Slack and Tony Stewart enough for their support of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum all year long, but especially during their Kings Royal weekend. Along with Knoxville and its Nationals, Chico and its Gold Cup Race of Champions, and Williams Grove and its National Open, Eldora and its Kings Royal is one of the ‘crown jewel’ winged dirt-track sprint car events of every season. We look forward to showcasing our Maxim/Rider sprint car number 10 raffle car at this year’s event, as well as auctioning off one-of-a-kind autographed memorabilia from the worlds of sprint car racing, stock car racing and championship car racing.”
Raffle tickets can be purchased during the Kings Royal weekend, by visiting the museum in Knoxville, Iowa, or by calling the non-profit museum at 1-800-874-4488.
