BOB KINSER, RICHARD “BUTCH” WILKERSON, ALLEN BARR, DANNY SMITH, GALEN FOX & OTHERS EXPECTED TO “REMEMBER THE SCIRA” ON THURSDAY NIGHT

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (December 10, 2013) - National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductees Bob Kinser and Galen Fox, along with Richard “Butch” Wilkerson, Allen Barr, Danny Smith and many others, are expected to ‘remember the South Central Indiana Racing Association (SCIRA)’ this Thursday, December 12, at 7 p.m. at Foxco Engineering at 8775 East Highway 36 in Avon, Indiana. The free and open-to-the-public “Sprint Car 101” panel discussion, which is being held in conjunction with the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show, will be hosted by noted historians Dr. Pat Sullivan and Dave Argabright.

According to museum curator Tom Schmeh today, “I am very excited about our first ‘Sprint Car 101’ forum away from our home base of Knoxville, Iowa. These programs have proven to be both educational and entertaining, and I see no reason for this one to be any different. We will definitely have an audience participation component to this program, so I encourage people to bring a chair and their favorite memories of the South Central Indiana Racing Association. I truly want to thank Galen Fox and his boys, Brad and Steve, for hosting us on the first night of the PRI Trade Show. I also have to thank Brad and Bob Dickison, Derek and Ron Scheffel, Pat Sullivan, Dave Argabright, Sean Buckley, John Mahoney and others for being our volunteers on the ground in the Hoosier State. We definitely couldn’t have taken our show on the road without their incredible help!”

Those individuals interested in learning more about the “Sprint Car 101” series of forums, presented by the non-profit National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, are urged to visit www.sprintcarhof.com.
