Eagle Motorsports Kicks Off Knoxville Raceway Contingency Program

Eagle Motorsports Inc. has teamed with Knoxville Raceway to create a contingency program designed to benefit teams who run Eagle Motorsports Chassis and parts, and to help boost participation in the weekly Lucas Oil Knoxville Championship Cup Series.

Eagle Motorsports will supply Knoxville Raceway with Eagle Product vouchers of varying values to be used towards any Eagle manufactured products including frames, panels, birdcages, torsion arms, etc.

For each Knoxville Championship Cup Series event run during the 2010 season Eagle Motorsports will award a voucher to the top finishing Eagle Chassis car. The award will include all three classes being contested during the season. This includes 16 nights for the 410’s and 360’s and for the first time in the long history of the Knoxville Raceway 11 nights of the 305’s. Drivers racing Eagle Chassis’ will be vying for a $150 voucher in the 410 class, a $100 voucher in the 360 class and a $75 voucher for the 305 class.

Incentives stretch beyond the weekly races in Knoxville as well. For any Eagle Chassis car that has raced in 75% of the weekly events in Knoxville, an additional $500 Eagle Products Voucher will we awarded to one lucky winner via drawing. In addition, if an Eagle Chassis car becomes track champion for the season another voucher will be awarded. In the 410 class the award would be $1000, $700 for the 360 division and $300 would go to a 305 winner running an Eagle Chassis.

Eagle Products will also offer contingencies in three special races this season in Knoxville, the Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals presented by Iowa Telecom, the USAC Wingless Knoxville Nationals and the Goodyear Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil.

During the 360 Nationals event August 5-7, the 1st Eagle Chassis Car home in the A Main on Thursday and Friday night will earn a $250 Eagle Products Voucher and during Saturday night’s A Main a $500 voucher will be awarded. Any driver winning the A Main with an Eagle Chassis on Saturday night would receive a $1000 Eagle Products Voucher

For the Non Wing Race on the August 8, The 1st Eagle Chassis car home will receive a $500 Eagle Products Voucher.

During the 410 Nationals Event on August 11-14, the 1st Eagle Chassis Car home in the A Main on Wednesday and Thursday night will get a $500 Eagle Products voucher and on Saturday night a $1000 voucher will be awarded to the top Eagle Chassis finisher. A $3000 voucher will be awarded to the Knoxville Nationals champion if he crosses the line in a Eagle Chassis as well.

“Knoxville Raceway has had a desire to implement a contingency program for the drivers for some time now.” Stated Brian Stickel, Knoxville Raceway Marketing Director. “The plan from Eagle Products meets our goals and objectives and creates a great template for other companies to follow.”
