Mike started racing in 2005 with the Mid America 305 group running a handful of shows. In 2006, he returned to finish 9th in points. He would go on to win the championship on the strength of a win in Bloomfield in 2007. After finishing second in 2008 points, he took two years off and will return to race at Knoxville and select other races in 2011.
