About Rager

Rager was born April 3rd, 1988 and attended his very first sprint car race at just 3 weeks of age. Rager began competing in the 305 class in a family owned car in 2000. He has since competed in both the 360 and 410 classes as well. 

During the 2012 racing season, Rager will be racing the #9 410 car owned by his parents, Kyle and Susan Phillips.

Outside the track, Rager farms roughly 3,700 acres of corn and soy beans on his family farm. Rager has two younger brothers, Tasker and Sawyer. Tasker is also a driver at Knoxville Raceway competing in the 305 and 410 classes this year.  Sawyer will be racing a few 305 races at some tracks in the surrounding area this season.  Rager also has three older sisters Tish, Natalie, and Carly who enjoy attending races and cheering on their brothers with the youngest "Phillips Racing Fans!" :)

In Rager's free time away from farming and racing, he enjoys spending time with his friends, wife, and family.
