About Josh
 |
Josh Schneiderman started his career at the young age of 14 years old. Beginning in the 360 ranks, he quickly gained experience with the Southeast Iowa Sprint Invaders series.
In 2006, Josh made his debut at the Knoxville Raceway in the 360 division. After two successful seasons Josh and his Deuce Motorsports team decided to make the transition to the 410 ranks.
The 49 team found immediate success in the division, finishing 3rd to the World of Outlaws at his home track, 34 Raceway. He also had many solid runs at the Knoxville Raceway, finishing 17th in points, amidst some very stiff competition. Josh returned in 2009, with plenty of momentum. But 2009 was faced with many challenges for the UNI Graduate, as his dad, team leader, and crew chief was forced to undergo Cancer treatments at the Mayo clinic. The season was a tough one for the at that time 20 year old, but he credits that season as a character building experience.
Josh and crew returned for the 2010 season at the Knoxville Raceway with a renewed spirit, as dad was back with the team and 100 percent healthy. The team was extremely fast out of the gate with many strong runs. The highlight of the young gun's season was a start in the 50th Knoxville Nationals and a strong 13th place finish. In addition, Josh had his best points finish of 8th place.
The 2011 season found the Deuce Motorsports 49 team back at the Knoxville Raceway looking to captilize on the success found in 2010. What Josh and the team found was bad luck, from equipment failures to on track incidents, it was a tough year. Josh was able to salvage the season with a 12th place points finish.
After a slow start to the 2012 season, Josh started to hit his stride in July. With a 360 triumph at his home track in West Burlington, Iowa on July 3rd (and his engagement to his long time girlfriend Brittany Griffith), Josh was ready for the Nationals. With a new powerplant under the hood the team had quite a learning curve, but capped off their Nationals with a C-Main 14th place finish. In addition, the team qualified for the 1st Annual Capitani Classic. Josh finished the season 10th in points.
The 2013 season will bring Josh and the 49 sprinter back to the Knoxville Raceway. Also, the team will be running the Deuce Motorsports #2 machine with the 360 Sprint Invaders series. It will be his first attempt at a championship with the series since 2008. The team is getting fired up for 2013 and will work hard to be competitive wherever they go.
