About J

J. is a 3rd generation racer, but the first in the family to race sprintcars.  He started racing go karts at age 11 with a lot of success throughout the years.  At age 16, he started racing sprints at XX Speedway in California, MO.  After learning a little and gaining some valuable seat time, he then ventured out to race at other tracks across Missouri.  In 2005, after an engine failure with his 360, the family decided to build a 305.  After a rough start battling motor issues, the 88 car has become a top runner in the 305 class.  J. has won a few races locally, including 2 Lake Ozark 305 National wins.  One of those, winning both nights of the 2 day show.  In 2008, J. and his wife Tracey, purchased a 360 to race.  After some success locally, including some wins, they decided to race with the Winged Outlaw Warriors in 2010.  J. finished 3rd in points and received the Rookie of the Year award.  He now has his sights set on Knoxville, looking for the points championship and Rookie of the Year in the 305 class.
