About Don

Beginning his racing career in the 1980s, Don wanted to pursue racing just as his father did, and be very successful at it too 

Throughout the years Don has raced just about anything you could think of from winged sprint cars to go-karts, late models to modifieds and he has been successful. A few years ago his season motto was, "Any Car, Any Track, Any Time, Gotta Race."

More recently Don has been on a more consistant schedule. In the past three years Don has been pilotting the Sonner 47 at Knoxville in the 410 division. And outside of running at Knoxville, he drives for his father in their family owned 360 sprint car and also drives a midget for an old time friend Skip Smith.
