About David

David started racing go karts at age 12.  He won a track championship in 1985 and finished 4th in the Speedway Grand Nationals.  In 1994 David set the track record in qualifying during a PKA event at The Park in Quincy, IL.  In 1995 he recorded laps at Road America under 2 min. 40 sec. in a road race prepared Mustang.  David was the track and I.K.F. regional champ in 2000.  Since beginning his sprint car career in 2001 he has won 15 heat races and scored 65 A feature finishes, including 35 in the top ten.  In 2005 David finished 5th in the B- Main at the 360 Nationals and finished 1st in the B- main and 11th in the feature at the Brodix TOC.  He ended the year 10th in points and was voted Sportsman of the Year for the 360 Class.  In 2006 David qualified 4th at the 360 Nationals, won the B- Main and finished 16th in the A feature.  In 2007 he scored 8 consecutive top 10 A Main finishes and ended the year 5th in points.
David is married and has 2 daughters.
